Advanced Food Systems has introduced Easy-Brown™, a new line of ingredient systems developed to deliver roasted flavor, appealing caramel color and a variety of other benefits in meats, vegetables, and baked goods.
In meat-based or poultry-based applications, Easy-Brown accelerates browning and provides a caramelized color and rich flavor. By reducing the cook times and temperatures, Easy-Brown™ also helps to improve cook yield. This application can be done by spraying, tumbling, or glazing.
Easy-Brown can also be added to variety of vegetables that can be cooked in an oven, kettle or retort. They produce traditional caramelized color and flavor with much shorter cook time. In vegetable applications, Easy-Brown systems help to increase freeze-thaw stability, reduce cook time and shrinkage as well as improve texture. These systems are excellent for pizza toppings, caramelized onions and IQF roasted vegetables.
In baked goods application, such as pie crusts, Danish, and croissants, multifunctional Easy-Brown systems produce a consistent brown color with glossy sheen, prevent moisture migration and can be used to replace liquid egg washes.
All Easy-Brown products are delivered in powder form and are easy to use.
